The many comments made by Margaret Court against gays and transgender people are unfortunate. Court is a public figure and everything that comes out of her mouth will be analyzed and criticized. The aspect that makes this even more intriguing is that she is a Pentecostal minister which brings religion into the public eye.
I have yet to seen a player play better bc they were gay. On the other hand, I have seen many players play better in all sports bc of Sports Enhancing Drugs. In our game, it should not matter what players do behind close doors as long as it is not cheating the competition. Let's leave that matter OFF COURT, Ms. Court!
